“On its throne”
It was Spring, my favourite time of the year. I decided to visit my hometown to photograph the wildlife around.
I started my trail early in the morning, focusing on birds.
As I walked, I could hear birds chirping all around me. After a while, I spotted a few birds and took some photos of them.
Later, as the sun climbed higher in the sky, the light scattered beautifully through the hills. I tried to capture a few backlit shots.
After that, I saw a few langurs roaming on the hill, and I tried to photograph them as well.
On my way back,I saw some raptors(Bonelli's Eagle Pair) sitting on a rock at Arunachal hill.
Suddenly, they flew away. Then, I saw a few langurs walking toward the same rock and captured the silhouette of a langur with its tail up, as shown below.
When I reviewed this photo on my camera, it seemed quite flat. Then I decided to experiment with the foreground, which always fascinates me, to make the scene more interesting. Fortunately, the langurs sat there motionless for 45 minutes,

After a few minutes, the langurs started to move. Unfortunately, I couldn't get the perfect shot because they moved in a direction where they weren't fully visible. I was left with only one langur, making it my last attempt.
I stayed patient, experimenting with various foregrounds in the meantime, hoping to capture a photo of the langur standing on the rock with its tail up. Finally, my patience paid off."
It was such a magical day for me in the field, a day where dreams felt real.
Thank you :)
