"A Rare Glimpse of Heaven's Palette."
Cloud Rainbow: A rainbow cloud, more accurately known as a circumhorizontal arc or iridescent cloud, occurs when sunlight or moonlight passes through ice crystals or water droplets in the atmosphere, causing the light to be refracted, dispersed, and sometimes diffracted, creating a spectrum of colours.
Usually, my favorite time to shoot is during sunset. On August 21, 2024, I noticed it was cloudy and considered skipping the shoot. However, I decided to step outside to check the lighting conditions. The sky was dark and cloudy on one side, but the other side looked different, filled with multiple colours.
Intrigued by what I saw, I grabbed my camera and headed to my usual birding spot. It was clear that this wasn't a common sight. As soon as I arrived, I took a few shots with my phone.
Then, I searched for a subject to compose with this colorful sky. I moved around, hoping to find at least one subject, and as time passed, the colors became even more beautiful. I managed to capture a few birds in flight.
And finally, I spotted a bird perched on a tree.
I lowered myself to get the perfect frame, capturing the bird along with the rainbow cloud.
Thank you :)
